Based in Langton Green, on the outskirts of Tunbridge Wells, Sparks Education provides educational support in schools, at local venues and online.
We also provide consultancy support for primary schools, including whole school improvement, Early Years Supedata analysis, Early Years reviews and school leader coaching.
Group tuition is offered at venues just outside Tunbridge Wells. Tuition groups are available for children in Year 1 to 6 (aged 5 to 11 years) and will be no larger than 4 pupils, unless specified.
A weekly personalised home learning activity will be provided as an optional follow on activity to support learning after each session.
11+ Tuition is available for small groups of children aspiring to pass the Kent Test and enter the Kent selective education system.
Tuition runs weekly throughout the year. We also run non-verbal reasoning workshops, a revision week in the summer holidays and mock 11+ tests with parent feedback report.
We have opportunities for Year 5 pupils to access virtual 11+ tuition support to enable them flexibility in their 11+ preparation journey. This takes the form of an online self-study course, covering all content delivered within the weekly sessions. For parents who are home educating, we have face to face options available for children from 5 to 13 years. Our unique programme is developed and delivered by qualified teachers and SENCOs. It aims to provide purposeful activities through a nurturing and tailored environment to support maths, English and problem solving skills.
Following proven successful leadership of a Primary for almost a decade, I am able to offer school consultancy support to Primary Schools in Kent and East Sussex, with a focus on strategic planning, data, curriculum development, preparing for OFSTED and developing phonics and Early Years provision.
Our coach holds an ISCP accredited Certificate in Performance Coaching and Certificate in Health and Wellbeing Coaching. Coaching is available to school leaders at all levels and can be provided on a weekly basis, for a minimum of six hour-long sessions.

Sessions are delivered face to face to enhance the learning experience for children, and all tutors are qualified teachers, each with over a decade of school experience. Fees for sessions can be found on our 'fees' page and begin at £15 for before school tuition clubs.
Tutors have an enhanced DBS check and references are checked prior to employment. Home settings for tutors have been risk assessed and approved by Sparks Education, and group sizes all conform with recommended adult to child ratios for the ages taught. All tutors receive accredited annual safeguarding training.

Sparks Education is based in Langton Green, near Tunbridge Wells. It is run by Rosie Piper, a Qualified Teacher with 20 years of Early Years and Education experience, including seven years successfully leading a primary school in Kent as headteacher. Rosie has experience across all primary Key Stages and has a proven history of strong progress and high engagement from the pupils she works with. Sparks Education works with a range of handpicked tutors, all of whom are qualified teachers, to deliver 1:1 and group tuition.
In a leadership capacity, Rosie has been involved in school outreach support and consultancy work, including support for schools in the use of data, pupil provision including Pupil Premium, curriculum, Early Years, phonics and preparing for Ofsted. Having led her previous school through three Ofsted inspections through from ‘Inadequate’ to ‘Good with Outstanding features’ she is familiar with the new Ofsted Inspection Framework and is confident in identifying priorities and taking a strategic approach to bringing about rapid change for schools.
Coaching for teachers and school leaders is also available.
